Many women wonder, how do you keep your looking fresh after a long flight and what kind of make-up should I bring? The best rule of thumb is, keep it light and natural. Your skin is already stressed from the dry and recycled air in the airplane and lack of sleep adds on as an another stressor to your skin. In addition, keep in mind that the more make-up products you apply to your face, there is more of a chance of smudging especially if you fall asleep during the flight.  Bring with you only the essentials such as the Buki Brush, eyeshadow brush, primer, concealer, waterproof mascara, waterproof eyeliner, lip balm, powder, blush, eyeshadow and make-up wipes.

Before a long flight, apply some moisturizer on your face and neck to keep your skin hydrated during the flight. Afterwards, apply a primer on your eyelids and put on waterproof eyeliner. Primers are a great way to keep your eye-make-up stay intact for longer periods of time. Alternatively, you may use a bit of eye shadow instead of eyeliner. If you would like to use mascara with the eye shadow, use a waterproof mascara, thus it would stay on longer, and apply only once so that your eyelashes do not feel so heavy.  Lastly, you may also use a bit of lip balm on your lips to complete your look. Avoid putting foundation, or powder on your face before the flight, as that can clog up your skin and cause breakouts later on.

During the flight, wipe your skin with make-up wipes once in a while to clean and hydrate your skin.

An hour before landing, wipe-off the make-up you currently have with a make-up wipe and start off by applying a bit of concealer underneath the eyes to keep your look fresh. Afterwards, apply a bit of powder all over your face and neck with a Buki brush to obtain natural and even coverage all over. Avoid using mineral make-up as it can get very messy and fall everywhere.  You may also use liquid foundation, however, that can also get messy and leave stains. For your eyes, start off by applying a shade of eye shadow over your eyelids with an eye shadow brush. Afterwards, apply a primer on your eyelids and then apply the eyeliner.
